We service a variety of businesses including professional firms such as engineering and law, wholesalers and distributors, manufacturing, retail, real estate and construction. We also provide expertise to many non-profit organizations.

A brief profile of firm members:

Thomas W. Listwak, CPA - Tom is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has a Master of Science in Taxation from Robert Morris University. Tom assists clients in developing short and long-term business plans. In addition, he provides tax planning strategies and business succession plans for closely held businesses.

Donald Finke, Jr., CPA - Don joined the firm in 2008 after serving as a partner at Bates, Barksdale, Ickert & Company. Don is a graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania and specializes in auditing, accounting and tax planning and compliance for closely held companies. He also will be heading up the firm’s Quality Control.

Robert S Hughes, CPA - Bob joined the firm in 1994. Bob has both a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Taxation from Duquesne University. He serves closely held companies, partnerships, nonprofits, trusts and estates in the areas of accounting, auditing and tax planning and preparation.

Karen Urban, CPA - Karen graduated from Westminster College in 2000 and was with the firm for five years from 2000 to 2005. Karen rejoined the firm in 2007. She provides accounting and auditing services to closely held corporations and non-profits. She also coordinated the firm's recent Peer Review.

Bonnie L. Listwak, CPA — Bonnie joined the firm in 1992. A graduate of Duquesne University, she provides tax compliance and planning services with additional expertise in the area of multi-state taxation and sales and use tax. She also serves as the firm’s administrator.

Doug Abel- Doug joined the firm in 1980 after graduating from Penn State University. He services individuals and closely held businesses in the areas of accounting, auditing, tax planning and preparation.

Charles Fascetti, CPA — Charles joined the firm in December 2008 after serving as a staff accountant at Wilke & Associates. He has both an undergraduate degree in accounting and Masters in Taxation from Robert Morris University. "Chaz" is also a Certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor.

Dennis E. Schauer, CPA – Dennis joined the firm in November 2011 and is a graduate of Robert Morris University. He has six years of accounting experience which includes internal audit, audits of closely held companies and nonprofit organizations, and tax return preparation. Dennis also served for four years in the United States Army.

Midge Pfeifer - Midge joined the firm in 2012 and is a graduate of La Roche College. She is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and has over 15 years of public accounting experience primarily with general ledger maintenance, 1040 and payroll tax return preparation.

Lisa C. Wozniak – Lisa joined the firm in March 2004 as our office manager and provides support in the day to day operations of the firm. Lisa has an Associate’s Degree from Community College of Allegheny County and over 15 years of office experience in the Banking and Insurance industries.
