Listwak & Associates was established in 1989 when Tom Listwak purchased the firm of Glausser and Company, and dedicated himself to continuing the Glausser tradition of quality, timely professional tax and accounting services. As we enter a new era at Listwak, Finke & Associates with Don Finke joining us, we believe we are better poised than ever to have our team of professionals use their knowledge, skills, and expertise to contribute to our client’s success. We take great satisfaction partnering with our clients and know that our firm’s success depends upon us helping our clients. We service a variety of businesses including professional firms such as engineering and law, wholesalers and distributors, manufacturing, retail, real estate and construction. We also provide expertise to many non-profit organizations. A brief profile of firm members: Thomas W. Listwak, CPA - Tom is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has a Master of Science in Taxation from Robert Morris University. Tom assists clients in developing short and long-term business plans. In addition, he provides tax planning strategies and business succession plans for closely held businesses. Donald Finke, Jr., CPA - Don joined the firm in 2008 after serving as a partner at Bates, Barksdale, Ickert & Company. Don is a graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania and specializes in auditing, accounting and tax planning and compliance for closely held companies. He also will be heading up the firm’s Quality Control. Robert S Hughes, CPA - Bob joined the firm in 1994. Bob has both a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Taxation from Duquesne University. He serves closely held companies, partnerships, nonprofits, trusts and estates in the areas of accounting, auditing and tax planning and preparation. Karen Urban, CPA - Karen graduated from Westminster College in 2000 and was with the firm for five years from 2000 to 2005. Karen rejoined the firm in 2007. She provides accounting and auditing services to closely held corporations and non-profits. She also coordinated the firm's recent Peer Review. Bonnie L. Listwak, CPA — Bonnie joined the firm in 1992. A graduate of Duquesne University, she provides tax compliance and planning services with additional expertise in the area of multi-state taxation and sales and use tax. She also serves as the firm’s administrator. Doug Abel- Doug joined the firm in 1980 after graduating from Penn State University. He services individuals and closely held businesses in the areas of accounting, auditing, tax planning and preparation. Renee Irvin - Renee joined the firm in 2007. She has a Bachelors Degree from LaRoche College. She provides accounting and tax services to a variety of clients, specializing in tax preparation for small businesses and individuals. Charles Fascetti — Charles joined the firm in December 2008 after serving as a staff accountant at Wilke & Associates. He has both an undergraduate degree in accounting and Masters in Taxation from Robert Morris University. Brandon M. Morris – Brandon joined the firm in October 2009 after serving as a staff accountant at Schneider Downs & Co. He has a Bachelors Degree in accounting from Washington & Jefferson College.
